🎂Salted Caramel Protein Cupcakes🎂⠀
These turned out to yummy not to post! It’s a slightly different than the recipe I used for my lemon protein cupcakes, these are a bit higher in macros and overall calories. However if your macros will allow for it, these make for an awesome high protein snack!

This recipe calls for salted caramel protein powder but can easily be used with any other whey or @trutein protein flavor.â €
Cupcake Macros (cupcakes only)â €
Fat: 7gâ €
Carbs: 16gâ €
Protein: 33gâ €
Calories: 259 for all 4 cupcakesâ €
Ingredients:â €
-1 scoop (34g) @trutein salted caramel protein powder (purchased on amazon)â €
-1/4 tsp baking sodaâ €
-1/4 tsp baking powderâ €
-1/8 cup almond flourâ €
-1/3 cup unsweetened applesauceâ €
-1 egg whiteâ €

Directions:â €
-Preheat oven to 350â €
-Mix all ingredients in a bowlâ €
-Spray 4 cupcake moldsâ €
-Divide the mixture into the 4 moldsâ €
-Bake for 10 minutesâ €
Optional Frosting:â €
-Mix 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder with a little unsweetened almond milk, just enough to make a thick frosting.â €
-Top cupcakes with frostingâ €
These protein cupcakes are one of my all time favorite snacks because they are so light and airy but still so delicious! Enjoy!!
